I wanted to adopt an animal because I wanted my forever friend! Kota has been my best friend and we do everything together. I decided she was the dog for me when I looked at her smile and her eyes. I could tell she was so kind and that she was going to be my companion. The more I get to know her personality, the more I realize that we are kindred spirits! Kota is doing great and she’s been loving our walks around Lawrence, the dog park, and her doggy daycare! Her favorite kind of toys are squeaky stuffed toys, even though she rips them apart just minutes later! I love everything about Kota, even down to her persistent snoring. She is really my best friend and I can’t ever imagine life without her! Thank you to the Lawrence Humane Society for allowing me to find her. I appreciate it more than you know!
