Carlton is a big ol' lovebug looking for a home where he can cuddle his heart out! Aside from snuggles, one of his favorite ways to show affection is to do 'walk-by' licks -- he'll swipe a fast tongue across the back of a knee or a foot dangling off the couch as he goes by! When he's not in snuggle mode though, he tends to worry. A lot. About everything. Especially change. So he needs people who can give him strong leadership and directions and also help him continue his training so he can learn that he doesn't have to be in 'protector mode' all the time. He really likes having a low-key dog to pal around with. In fact, he's actually a pretty darned good 'big brother' to timid dogs, helping them gain confidence while they help him not stress so much about new things. He'll need to meet your dog prior to adoption though, just to make sure they get along. Have you ever thought young kids change really fast?
